    I work at a bank and, well, let's just leave it at that.

    It was tough to "steal" stuff from the place I used to work. They were so tight you had to "check out" notebooks and such -- stuff you really needed to do your job -- from the office secretary.

    I can't steal anything really fun now that I'm working at a paper full-time, but when I was waiting tables in college just a few years ago ... now that's a different story.
    Let's just say I have a full collection of frosted beer mugs, silverware, bowls, those cloth napkins and just about anything else. Restaurants were made for robbing.

    i take only pens and paper. i don't look at it as stealing. i do work at home, although not much. i need to be able to write stuff at home.

    when i was still a sports writer i loaded up from the supply closet and brought whatever home whatever i wanted since i spent more time working from home or in a press box than i did in the newsroom.
