    Mentos seems to have run away from their campy freshmaker commercials. Big Red and Double Mint gum, ditto.

    And I miss the Nestle Crunch commercials.

    "Winston takes good like a cigarette should." It became "like" instead of "as" because the former fit into the jingle better and it's how "like" has become accepted as an alternative to "as" in speech (though when I write, I take care to remember to use "as" properly).

    Loved those Miller Lite commercials.

    "Where's the Beef!!?" [Clara Peller version, perhaps best campaign ever.]

    On YouTube, there are a bunch of cigarette ads that air in Japan that are done the way they used to be in the U.S.
