Technically, it is. It ain't no sitcom, the execution notwithstanding

That's the point. It wants to be, but it's camp. And not good camp. And camp can never be drama.

I call it a comedrama, because the comedy is the biggest portion.

    Theatrequeen drama, yes.

Hopefully, what follows will display some evidence that they've learned from their mistakes.

    Not counting on it, though.

I think the next season of "Smash" should see the lead go to Rachel Barry. Ultimate crossover. :D

    Revenge was ranked 45th? Wow.

  7. It's possible that's why it was moved to Sunday night, which I think will serve the show well.

I think it may be an instance where ABC knows it has a quality show that isn't as popular as they think it should be. I could see it doing very well on Sundays as well...

The thing about Smash - I almost wonder if they will create a second "show" - there can't be too many more Marilyn numbers we haven't heard and I figure viewers will tire quickly of hearing them reprised again and again.
Or maybe just have the writing team ditch the covers for originals?
Moving Revenge to Sunday makes sense considering it will be going against football - it's one of the reasons ABC's schedule skews so much toward female viewers, they don't want to distract from ESPN.

I like Revenge so much that unless my beloved Niners are playing, I'll be watching that over football...

I hate Sunday night football anyway.

It makes more sense to try to take the Desperate Housewives audience and get them watching Revenge.

Was Revenge going against Idol for the second part of the season?

No, mizzou. Idol never pushed into the Revenge 10 p.m. time slot.

I'm liking that "Rookie Blue" is back. Not a bad little cop show.

But it'll be competing with Sunday night football, not to mention several other Sunday night staples -- like The Walking Dead.
