What Do You Find Therapeutic?

    I enjoy painting. Not painting pictures, painting walls. It's very methodical, it's not terribly difficult and you get to see the results right away (something that can't be said for the more stressful things in life).

    I also like going to movies by myself, sometimes two or three in a row. I just get lost in it and forget about everything else for an afternoon. Sure, it's escapism as therapy, but it beats drugs.

    I like shovelling snow, which is just as well, seeing as we've had eight feet this year.

    Plastering is good, too. With plaster, I mean.

    Shoveling snow is a good one.

    I think the first few rounds of golf in the spring are therapeutic. Just good to be outside again and walking 18 holes. Of course by the fall, when I've been playing for six months and am really %&#! tired of shooting in the 90s, it's not so therapeutic anymore.

    spending time with my wife

    Playing my Martin D15 Acoustic/Electric guitar.

    Here's one for JR. I just finished playing Canadian Railroad Trilogy. A great song. Trying to reach the point where I can play it by memory instead of having to look at the sheets.
