What do you do on your day's off?

Pretty much, the only day off I get is Sunday, if that. And since there's nothing but NFL on Sunday, I usually catch up on my recreational reading. I'll try to hit the gym and, if I feel like failing at something, attempt to cook dinner.

I'd cultivated a wicked addiction to yard work, but that was before a city-owned sewer line developed problems around my property, turning the back parts of my back yard into poop stew.

I mean, am I missing something? My day has an off? And I'm supposed to do something on it?

    Help me out here.

I believe someone beat you to it on the first page, when they said "punctuate."

As for me, another poster on this board got on me when I used to work the desk, was single, and was in a new place. He'd call me at 2 p.m. on my day off and I'd be drunk already. There wasn't much else to do, so I figured I'd do something at which I was good.

I believe I read that as in punctuating his never-ending sentences. My bad to steal FDP's thunder.

I believe you could be right, and I could be wrong.

    Let's never fight again.

    Hahahah deal!

You're my favorite Browns fan with a seven-letter handle on this board!

I think about all the things I'd like to do on my day off.

Then I realize I have no money and can't do them.

Then I look around the apartment and decide I need to do chores.

Then I go buy coffee and muffins even though I don't have the money.

Then I look around the apartment that needs cleaning.

Then I feel very tired, even with the coffee.

Then I get on the internet and go semi-comatose on the couch while watching The Weather Channel.

Then I feel guilty and think about doing something.

Then I feel so tired that getting up to make a bowl of cereal is too much effort, so I don't bother.

Then at the end I wonder why the fuck I didn't do anything today.

Then I realize I don't have it in me to give a damn.

    Then I go to sleep.
