What did you think in 1998?

Why would I want a computer to watch videos? VHS tapes have been doing the job for 15 years. And those big phones will never fit in my pocket.

Homers flew, records fell and baseball reclaimed America. It was a
    magical year.

No. Echoing the voices. Twitter would've gone nuts that night.

People always talk about how 1998 brought fans back to baseball after the strike. Not me. I really paid little attention to that season.

As a White Sox fan, I was truly pissed about how the 1994 strike destroyed a great chance for my team to end its World Series championship drought (seeing the Frank Thomas HOF write-ups reminded me how dialed in he was that year).

Of course, another big reason was I lived in the U.P./northern L.P. of Michigan from 1997-2002. Coverage of MLB was limited to Tigers radio broadcasts if you lived my luddite lifestyle, and those teams were horrible.

I didn't start following MLB closely again until about 2003, just in time to see the Cubs epic fail and White Sox triumph in 2005. :D

By then, players' steroid use was on everyone's radar screen.

The WWF is finished for good. WCW will know exactly how to use Bret Hart.

A pro wrestler will never be elected governor of Minnesota.

I thought the opposite. Austin would have just kicked him in the gut. He wouldn't have had to even put the stunner on him.
