Take a good look at that photo. First off, you'll be hunting pythons in the Everglades, aka Swampland, Florida. And your new python friends know how to move around pretty well underwater. Be careful not to piss them off! Because they're GIANT PYTHONS! They're twice as big as you, and they can swallow you whole, and there are "tens of thousands" of them swimming around in those dark waters where you're stomping around like Clark Griswold. Finally, you'll be sharing that hot, sticky swampland with some of South Florida's finest rednecks and yahoos, and some of them are bound to be liquored up and half-crazy, and they definitely like shooting off their guns out there in the middle of nowhere. They also like playing with machetes. Don't piss them off, either!

    Anyway, Happy Python Hunting!!!

These things take on alligators - sometimes they lose, but sometimes they win, too.

One snake had 17 eggs. There are already tens of thousands of snakes in the Everglades. This move reeks of desperation. They'll never get all the pythons.

The reference to feral hogs is apt. They are reproductively mature at just over a year of age and produce two six-pig litters a year. The free-hunt strategy simply is not working.

And, if the pythons and rednecks don't get you, you're also sharing those murky swamps with countless alligators and a vast and unlimited array of other creepy bugs, spiders, leeches and other snakes.

Can't figure why Florida can't get more people to go python huntin. Quite a mystery that is.

    Let me rephrase.

That's why you stay in the airboat.

    With a shotgun.
