Uh, that shot was taken during warmups, when the announcers typically tape the pre-game introduction stuff, about 90 minutes before game time. Attendance today was 42,300.

And if Georgia actually does play at Stillwater, instead of buying the game out, it will be the Bulldogs' first non-conference regular-season game outside of the Eastern Time Zone since 9/23/1972, when it played at Tulane.

Before that, it's 1965, at Michigan. So until play in Stillwater, that will be two regular-season non-league games outside of the Eastern Time Zone, and one game outside of the south, in 43 years. That's some courageous scheduling, right there.

Your point is taken, though though for the sake of accuracy I'd point out that you missed a couple of games outside the Eastern Time Zone ... UGA played at Tulane in 1970, at Houston in 1967.

To be fair, though, if you're going to criticize UGA for scheduling, you should also criticize those teams that have turned the Dogs down or backed out of agreements with them. It's hard to see Georgia backing out of the contract with OSU.

BCS conferences need to do some tie-in for one week each year, that way we can put a rest to the bad-scheduling debate.
