What are your resolutions?

A hummer from someone who has 18K posts on a message board.. high goals, indeed

 

If it makes you feel any better, it's 20 minutes later, and I don't remember typing that.

I do love you, Beaks. (I at least like you a lot.)

I'd like to lose 30 pounds.
Wait. I already did this poost.
I'd like to be half the man that Beaks is. Only then will I be happy with who I am.

 

My goals are modest.

1.) I want to continue going to the gym, but do so more consistently than I have in the past four months. Three or four times a week will do it.

2.) Make more money this year than I did last, and hopefully find a way to get a steady second job.

3.) Plan another awesome vacation this summer. I'm eyeing a return to Florida, but Toronto and California are also options.

4.) Not let my job come before my life nearly as often.

and lastly.....

5.) I want to shit in at least five states this year. So far, I'm 20% done with my goal as I took a nice one at the NYE party tonight in Connecticut. Since I live in Rhode Island, I expect to be at 40% by the end of the week.

 

-- Get back in the gym and seriously work on my weight.
-- Improve my financial situation.
-- Move out. Get an apartment either on my own or with a coworker.
-- Grow in my faith.
-- Become a better son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, friend.
-- Be more involved in my sisters' lives. Be a better big brother to all three girls.

 

It's a good thing this was not one of mine:

Do not, while drinking too much bubbly, buy more than $1,100 worth of guitar online before the new year is three hours old.
