I don't think these work like birthday wishes, so share.

    Mine:

    1. To get back in the gym, sign back up with Weight Watchers, and drop the weight I've gained back, plus a little more.

    2. To get myself out of debt, improve my credit rating and get a car that I don't hate.

    3. To figure out how to make myself happy without having it tied to someone else at any time.

    1. To continue my transition from asshole to being a good person and contributing to people other than myself
    2. Go easier on my mom, she means well, but she can press my buttons like no one else
    3. To not ever, ever, ever, ever get in the middle of disputes between people at work, this just happened in the last week and it was ugly for all of us.
    4. To not be scared to try new things

I've already figured out how to make myself ... um ... happy. Now it's time to find someone else to make me happy. :)

    1. Save money and spend on necessities only.

    2. Write some of the things I've been putting off, and begin the new ideas.

    3. I'd say find peace of mind, but after this past Monday everything is peaceful. Totally peaceful. That will facilitate the rest.

    1) Swear less
    2) Exhibit more patience, no matter the situation (That will be a TALL one ... )
    3) Find an actual worthwhile job that better utilizes whatever skills I might possess.
    4) Live in a better place
    5) Be around people who communicate better and understand how utterly stupid selfishness is if they wish to be around that person.
    6) Find happiness - some way, somehow.

I might be the only one, but 2008 was a good year to me, so I hope 2009 will just improve on it.

    1) Keep up with my workouts and eating right, even (ESPECIALLY) when I'm on the road for work. Excuses are for fat kids.
    2) Complete a triathlon.
    3) Find a place (city, state, apartment, whathaveyou) that I WANT to call home.
    4) To resist falling back into old, bad habits.
    5) To love on my friends (and family) at all possible times.

    3. Take better care of my body.
    4. Manage my wretched financial situation better.
    5. Have astounding amounts of sex.

Well, let's see. Some of your resolutions have sparked a few for myself, though I rarely ever make them.

    1. Smoke less. I already began this process on Christmas Day, so as not to fall into the New Year's Day doomed to fail thing.

    2. Go back to college.

    Me, too!

    Always a good thing.

    I plan to swear more.

I plan to move further away, however.

    Ditto!

  11. 1) Lose more weight (lost 22 pounds this year)

    2) Find a new job...or a new career if/when it comes down to it

    3) Be an asshole towards women...seems to be the only way to get some attention

    4) Come to grips with my family issues

    5) Make an effort to be social

    6) Make an effort to be happy

    1. Keep going with my lone resolution of 08 - lose weight (37.1 so far)
    2. Actually save some money
    3. Make friends outside of the newspaper, probably the biggest thing I didn't do in college
