    I'm being ambitious this year.

No fast food (which I rarely eat as it is).
    No cokes.
No sweet tea (as a Southerner this will be difficult).
No eating out at lunch, instead brown-bagging every day. (I'm going to take $10 each day and donate it to charity instead.)

So what are you giving up?

What are you trying to do, make up for killing a drifter?

I'm thinking of swearing off drive thrus and vending machines.

    Meat.
Forty days of cheese pizza for me.

But seriously, Inky, you should dial it down a notch. Or make the charity, yor daughter's college fund or the Institute for Denim Advancement.

I too will be living off bean burritos. Got a few friends and family members that still go old style, no meat, dairy or oils. Basically, they eat bread and vegetables for 40 days. I tried once and only made it a week.

Only done the no meat thing for the duration four times.

    You just can't quit me.

  11. I hope that charity is for Haiti and NOT some blogger (Blogs!) to go to spring training.

I'm giving up cussing - or at least cutting down.
Late night snacks - no food after 9 p.m.
    And lunch out ...

Time to try to get back in shape and I fugire this will be a good start.
