I've actually never seen Goodfellas, sir. I knew the quote was from that movie, but that's about it.

I know Family Guy took the line and instead of "clown," they used Rita Rudner. But that's all I've got. Tim Tuefel wouldn't even look me in the eye right now.

I wonder if there was an old-English word for slapnuts.

    I think it was "Mike".

Trying to take back those five golden toques?

No way, hoser. You need those toques.

Me, I was up at 5 a.m. to drop a grand on a multitude of deals at Future Shop. New receiver, printer, speakers and a bunch of little things I couldn't keep my grubby paws off of.

Boxing Day is like crack. Of course, you Americans had Black Friday a month ago, so you know what I speak of.

    Boxing Day in Leafs Nation:

Canada vs. Czech Republic - WJC
Canda vs. Pardubice - Spengler Cup
    Toronto vs. Islanders

And in between, reading my new book "McCown's Rules", a book of hockey arguments that's really fun.

    I love being Canadian. :D

  9. What are Canda and Pardubice?

Nothing serious. A little antibiotic will clear them right up.

What are the odds of my misspelling Canada but getting Pardubice right? Anyway, Pardubice is a city in the Czech Republic (Dominik Hasek's hometown) and their team is representing the Czechs in the Spengler Cup. Coincidentally, they are also the host city for this year's World Junior Championships.
