My game show wasn't jeopardy but it was a sports talk game show two decades ago and I won five figures on it for my absurd trivia knowledge.

The test was DAMN hard. Twenty questions. Mostly all fill in the blank or short answer.

    I got 19 of 20.

Hardest one: how many singles titles did Martina Navratilova win at Wimbledon? I said 9.

The one I missed: what team did KC Jones coach after leaving the Boston Celtics. Sonics. I said Blazers.

Those of us who got 16 were hustled back for an on-camera audition right there. I was high energy, full TV personality mode. Got the callback three days later.

The taxes I paid on the cash and the trip I won were an absolute bear.

Amazing difference in ability between Kevin and the winner. Kevin got one puzzle and $1,000. Winner got all the other puzzles and won something like $40K, but she got completely got overshadowed by Kevin's naked desire.

That was my favorite show growing up. IIRC, for a while you could watch Sale of the Century, Classic Concentration and The Price is Right, back-to-back-to-back.
