WH: Not ruling out attack on Iran

I not only believe we're going to war with Iran, I believe this president doesn't want to leave office without firing the first nuke.

 

That was a yes-or-no question. Don't ramble. Considering the past few years, the situation we're now in, do you think we're headed to war with Iran?

 

I don't think that's what he meant. I think he meant that if we fail in Iraq, then the whole area is "in play" aka "up for grabs."

 

We're all gonna die in nuclear attacks. But first our eyeballs will melt.

As to will we go to war with Iran, if it's going to happen it will be within the next two years. The next pres wouldn't be that foolish.

 

I don't think you heard him say, the area is in play (although I may be mistaken). I think he said if Iran and Syria send people into Iraq, we will deal with those people. He didn't say we're changing the oil in the tanks for a little trip.

And a non-NFL draft won't really affect me too much.

All the signs of a build-up to attack Iran are there. There are now two carrier groups in the Arabian Sea off the coast of Iran; an additional squadron of F-16s have been sent to Turkey; and extra Patriot missile batteries have been deployed to protect U.S. bases in Iraq and Kuwait. They aren't there to shoot down Al-Sadr's crop duster, folks.
