There is a small chance this won't be the only WVU beat gig open in the next few weeks. There might be some movement on the way.

Another opening because of a promotion from within, or another writer leaving?

OK then. I was just guessing that Stephanie moving along would mean somebody else on staff getting that beat, and thus that would open up another potential beat. Am I off here, or is there the potential of another writer leaving TDP?

Unless my reading comprehension skills are hurting, I think our friend MUWNSH is suggesting another WVU beat writer, from another paper perhaps, might be heading elsewhere.

Good gig, but don't expect to break news online. Doesn't happen at this paper.
