that's incredible -- 736 people watched the devils on saturday night. but it's not just an indictment of hockey; it's also an indictment of the ratings system.

for the first night we watched pretty standard fare -- office, scrubs, 30 rock and shark. that's all.

Just got my books for the eight days beginning July 19. Figures we'd be chosen when there was no hockey to watch.

And sorry, reality TV. No ratings from my house for you. RATINGS=NOT YOURS.

So you're going to block out ESPN for two weeks, right? :)
  4. Unless there's a game on, it's always blocked here.

Wanna send it to me? I'm on a business trip next week and I won't have access to a TV for five days. The following week I'm on vacation. For two weeks, I'll have about four days that I could watch TV more than just for 30 minutes or so. (I'm sure the hotels on vacation will have TV, but I'm sure as hell not staying to watch).

Mustardbased getting a Neisen book while ESPN is offering up "Who's Now". MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. It's good news for FoxSports' highlight show, however.

If ESPN is lucky, they might get a Baseball Tonight or two listed. Maybe.

Just remember to fill in the book.
Oh sure, you'll do it the first night -- maybe the second.
Third, fourth, fifth day -- you'll say you'll fill it in tomorrow... Day 7, you'll have to remember what you did.
Take it from someone who got May Sweeps...
Oh. And here's your chance to get revenge on TV geeks you don't like.

Nothing but reruns. Show 'em there's jack shit on TV right now and hasn't been since Seinfeld and SportsNight signed off.
