I don't see it at all. Aside from singing that annoying song that sticks in my head all day, he's just so, I don't know, stringy? Scruffy? Broke?

But we've had this discussion before, the guy in the commercial with 'Tempted' as the soundtrack. He was a helluva lot hotter than the Credit guy, but same type.

 

I think the Free Credit guy will be a member of the ensemble in the Off-Off Broadway production of The Tao of Steve. And my wife's "type" begins and ends at Denzel Washington.

 

Sorry, Lugs, I don't see it either. He looks like he could use a shower, some clean clothes and to hit the gym.

It's the line between "just right" and "too far." She likes guys with what I would describe as "big" faces, but half the ones I point out she says are "too much." Similarly, I like them blonde and generically pretty, but she points out Barbie dolls that just look plastic.
