    Considering the job market, some people may not have a choice. I'd much rather buy a house in a more inexpensive part of Virginia, but my job is in DC, which limits my options.

    It's not like I can up and move to, say, Lynchburg. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't find a job with my current salary. And by pretty sure, I mean 100 percent sure.
