In what you can see of the copy there, it is spelled correctly four times. And once in the top cutline. And yet ****

The regional hub for our local Gannett paper once mismascoted the city’s two high schools, putting the mascot for one on a headline about their crosstown rival.

At least the headline writer was in the Western Hemisphere.

    I think.

Loved when Florida Gulp Coast made that great run in the tourney!

Maybe the desker who wrote the headline had just had to edit a really long story about lemons and it stuck in his/her head.

When I posted this on Facebook my Michigan friends were glad it wasn’t Fort Meijer’s

Agreed, few things in life more satisfying than rotisserie chicken straight out of the oven.

    I'd'a'made that the centerpiece.

    But hey, LIT!

AND all zimmermen had to do was tell the kid that he was with the neighborhood patrol. One little statement solves that situation. (of course, he was not acting in that capacity)

How did the Democrats let rotisserie chicken get in peril in Fort Meyers?

If you make rotisserie chicken the lead, then do you misspell Fort Myers in the sky?
Or are the sky and headline written in different states?
