    i also enjoyed the tour of the jail ... which was a little spooky itself just knowing what had taken place there.

    salem was a great stop in general. i'll go back again the next time i go to boston.

    There's a big, ugly, city-wide bacchanal there every Halloween. So I guess the Puritans won the battle, but lost the war. I'm not much on the Halloween clusterfuck, but under normal circumstances, O'Neill's Pub is a great place to have a pint. And the Peabody Essex Museum is cool.
