    "Vanilla Sky" anyone?

"Fight Club" was OK, but I figured it out about 1/4 of the way through. Not because I'm a genius at figuring twists out - they usually get me. But because that trope has been beaten to death at this point.

Muholland Drive and Lost Highway are great calls.

Don't understand how Adaptation is on this list. That is one of the best films ever made and quite ingenious, really. And also quite easy to understand.

    It's up there.

We saw "The Village" at a drive-in. And spent two hours saying, "What the fuck?"

My wife offers "The Blair Witch Project." I didn't watch it.

Don't know if I'd call that weird.

    Stupid, yes.

'Eyes Wide Shut' is terrible pretending to be cryptic.

I've never watched 'Naked Lunch' because I loathed the book so much.

HC2 has already been shot and has been reviewed. Godawful, of course. The director is already pimping HC3.

Eraserhead and it's not even close.

I've got to think there is a subset of movie producers who specialize in financing movies that have no hope of turning a profit allowing their backers a needed write-off - that's the only explanation I can find for some of these movies getting made.

And a no-brainer like "The King's Speech" struggles for financing?

Gummo. Or anything by Harmony Korine. This guy makes David Lynch look like Nora Ephron.
