    Fair cuisine: Scorpion pizza.
Very bitter taste. Did it on a dare. Thought it would be baked into the pizza like sausage or pepperonis but it wasn't. Just sprinkled on like red pepper.

I've had rattlesnake and alligator before. Both were quite good.
What's your experience with weird food? Dammit I could have done a hell of a job as the star on "Bizarre Foods" on the Travel Channel.

(edited to fix awful grammar in thread title)

    Sea Urchin.

    I do not recommend it.

I've had rattlesnake, alligator, eel, all of which I liked.

    Have eaten. Not have ate.

And, didn't we do this thread already, and pretty recently?

    sea urchin is delicious.

Last time we did this there were a lot of folks who consider switching from Hellman's to Miracle Whip to be adventurous eating.

I don't consider sea urchin, alligator, ostrich, buffalo, rattelsnake or eel to be weird.
Although they are not everyday items on the average American dinner table, they are all readily available throughout much of the country.

    Same with goat.

For more unusual entrees, I have eaten sea turtle (delicious) and bat (not delicious).
I've had the chance to eat balut and dinuguan but I declined as politely as I could.

In Nigeria I was served cowskin and some kind of river carp that had not been gutted or scaled.
Both were very challenging, but I ate them.

Much like the comma, the hyphen is also your friend.

Weird-ass food? Sure. Weird ass food? Not a chance.
