Ellen is family friendly. Adam Lambert at the Grammys is not.

It's one thing to be gay. It's another thing to be gay and controversial.

Maybe they just don't want to deal with the PETA protests.

Glaad's gonna be embarrassed if he's hetero!

Isn't this the guy who skipped out of the Olympics early so he could go to fashion week?

    And Avery interned at Vogue.

    Your point?

Weir has never pushed a man's head into his crotch during a routine, he's never worn terrible fetish leather with spikes head to toe, he's never humped the keyboardist. Comparing his routines to Adam Lambert's joke of a self-promotional performance makes you look stupid.

What Mizzou is really trying to say is that being gay is fine, but being flamboyant is most certainly not OK.

Oh, I know what he was trying to say. I was trying to get him to stop speaking in code.

    I don't care. It doesn't bother me.

My view is that he's one of the top skaters in the country and should be a part of anything that showcases Olympic talent.

That said, Weir is controversial. If Stars on Ice doesn't want to deal with that controversy, that's their right. I don't agree with it, but I understand it.

But why do you understand it? Put into actual words why you think he's controversial to other people.

Seriously. My first thought was "He's a Canadian, but Mike Weir is a golfer. Who Cares?"
    I see now.
