I have no idea who this "source" is, but wasn't Rudy Galindo (openly out, and HIV positive) a big part of SOI? Might even still be.

Looks like reporter made no atempt to reach Smuckers for comment so it's just a rumor from an anonymous source.

  3. I'm no good with the law, at least on that side of it (ya dig), but if I were Weir, I'd take these playas to court. Could be a lot of money in his future, ya feel me?

Well, yeah. I don't think GLAAD has any "reporters." It's a blog, off an unnamed source. Which is why I mentioned Galindo, because it seemed odd that Johnny's ... off-ice life would be a dealbreaker for the tour.

Isn't Weir supposed to be the bad-boy skater? I can't imagine anyone would suddenly decide that being a gay male figure skater would be a deal breaker.

    He's not family-friendly if you're a family of chinchillas.

His "tribute to dildos" program crossed the line?

You can be gay and be family friendly.

Weir is definitely not family friendly.

Shame. It put a real twist on the triple axel.

What exactly makes a gay male figure skater family un-friendly?
