Maybe LSU won’t give up any points this weekend.

Maybe I'll pick the winning Powerball ticket up off the sidewalk.

Where, exactly, do you live, and how heavily armed are you? Asking for a friend.

The Big Four probably would have to go as some sort of package deal, even though Duke and Wake Forest are private. And I cannot see any scenario where Chapel Hill and NCSU are split up. But, in all fairness, I didn't see Texas and TAMU in different conferences, either.

I didn’t expect ATM to bolt, but the governance structure in Texas higher ed is different. ATM has its own system separate from the UT board.

As does Houston, and North Texas, and Texas State, and Texas Tech.

They all answer (some to a greater degree than others) to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board ... [DarthVaderSounds] THECB.

ETA ... Wait. Am I just picking a fight with this?

Not affiliated with anyone in The Republic. No fight here.

I never saw TAMU and the folks in Austin going to different conferences. But none of The Big Four in North Carolina was in line to get its own sports channel, either.
