I'm a Saints fan and I'd take the Seahawks, too. New Orleans is helpless on the road and cannot run the ball AT ALL.

    Week 7 is possible.

I know when I'm in need of NFL news and information, I look to Christian Science Monitor.

They likely didn't schedule it then because the Broncos were already assigned two Thursday games and the NFL likely wanted them in the Thursday opener AND have them on an NFL Network game.

With the Thanksgiving games, the Cowboys and Lions are really only concerned that they get to keep playing the games, regardless of how good or bad their teams are.

We can attribute Harvin's early comeback to the power of prayer and his refusal to take any medications whatsoever.

No, the Rams aren't as bad as the Jags. But they're bad enough that this might be the Jags'1 in a 1-15 season. And I can certainly argue for the Rams deserving a No. 31 ranking in the NFL voters' poll. Giants and Steelers may be winless yet, but they've got far more talent, especially at the critical QB position, than the Rams.

You're crazy. The Rams were 7-8-1 last season, they've already won this year, and they have good coaching and young talent. I'm not pushing them for the playoffs or anything, but I'd be very surprised if they don't end up winning five games. They still play the Jags, Bucs, Cardinals, Panthers, and there are plenty more teams that are something less than invincible.

What does Christian Science Monitor say about the Rams?

At some point, the Jags will likely win a game. Whenever it happens, it will be when we least expect it. :D

Maybe it will be like a couple years ago when a horseshit Chiefs team beat a Packers team that wound up going 15-1. With my luck that Jaguars win will come against the 49ers. :D

Saying a Jaguars win will come when we least expect it is the same thing as saying that the Jaguars will win a game. I'll never expect it.

Or you can type "Percy Harvin" into a google search and see what pops up.

Actually, it's been discussed for about a month now.

The headline for the SB Nation story contains the words "still no timetable for his return." The story itself contains the words "the general consensus is that he won't be ready until Thanksgiving at the earliest."

Week 7 is the earliest he could be back based on the rules of the PUP list, so of course Harvin is going to tweet out (on Sept. 4) to keep an eye on that date. That PFT story also contains the words "it’s unlikely he’ll be able to perform on Sundays that quickly."

And the report that SB Nation based its story on (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/09/28/harvins-return-could-be-delayed-by-seahawks-success/) contains the words "But that doesn’t mean we’ll see him in Week Seven, or soon thereafter."
