Kinda got lost in the B12 shitstorm over the weekend, but ArkyPig beating State is hilarious. Not enough cowbell?

Makes sense. If you're drunk enough, you won't even notice if you have COVID.

This way, "Death Valley" takes on more of a literal meaning.

Get the game in before the gunfire picks up.

A few years ago, a longtime friend died. He was the first black quarterback at my high school (second-team All-CIF behind Pat Haden) and was a guy I had known since kindergarten. He were in school together all the way through junior college. The funeral was at a small church on 95th and Vermont on a Saturday at 8 a.m.
Damn, why so early? Because the gangbangers are still passed out.

So sorry to hear. It was partially tongue in cheek, but the only time I've been to the Coliseum, the neighborhoods were so sketchy, we had no idea what to do other than hope not to hit many red lights. And that was in 1983-84? Can't imagine things have improved.

no apologies necessary. I’ll add more later. I went to and lived near USC in the early ‘70s. You’re not wrong.
