    Could be fun in the Triangle around Thanksgiving ... Chapel Hill just did scrape by to beat I-AA Furman, a solid, solid program with an obvious talent gap. But the Heels are barely competitive.

    Then there's MENSA candidate Chuck Amato in Raleigh ...

    There's still a second half to go at Faurot. I still think that spread is covered like a swaddled infant. And Colorado apparently is now the best 0-4 team in the history of college football. But we saw why those choking dogs are indeed 0-4.

    Upset of the day: Auburn leading Buffalo only 10-0 at the half. The Tigers by all rights should be on their way to a seven-touchdown victory.

    Milner was probably due for a big play after so many drops and penalties over the past two seasons.
