Giants-Panthers is the Thursday matchup. Packers-Seahawks on Monday night. Lots of swearing in-between.

With a nod to the premature NFL Week 3 thread, we couldn't have had NFL Week 3: Bronco Nagurski rises again?

Six unbeatens and four of them face-off: Chargers/Falcons and Eagles/Cardinals??? (still can't believe that one).

Can't say I like Atlanta's chances: short week, cross country trip and Turner DUI distraction are a recipe for a left coast blowout. Hoping I'm wrong on that.

And in the where have you gone, Joe Dimaggio Namath, some rivalry games that don't carry the same luster they used to: Steelers/Raiders and Jets/Dolphins.

I would think the Chargers would have a huge advantage in that game against the Falcons, but it's still Norv Turner, so who knows?

Packers at Seattle could be dangerous for Green Bay.

The Seahawks have been unable to play two strong games in succession for many seasons now.

Not sure the Chargers are for real. It'll be interesting to see what they can do once Mathews returns. Right now, with Gates banged up, they have no receiving threats and the running game is terrible. They've beaten the Raiders and Titans. Not sure they'll blow out anyone at any point this year. Also, Turner sucks. Losing him wouldn't hurt Atlanta much, if at all.

Isn't this the week the Niners play the Lions?
