And Jim McMahon steered them to 10-6 and the edge of the playoffs, right?

    He was a punky QB.

Nobody will be in a hole in the AFC West this season. Easily the worst division in football.

0-2 isn't the hole it used to be.

I think that Eagles pulled a 1-1-1 in total defense that '91 season.

I remember that unit being compared to the '85 Bears. Carson might have even said it was better, IIRC. Lotta good it did 'em once the playoffs rolled around.

I'm pretty sure of it, but wasn't Cunningham injured against the Packers? The guy was never the same after that.

I lived in the Philly suburbs back then and I remember four things from that season:

    1.) The injury.

2.) Mike Golic's weekly segment on Randall's TV Show. I was 11 and thought he was funny.

3.) A bad loss on the road to a horrible Tampa Bay team.

    4.) Jeff Kemp, starting quarterback.

Kemp started three or four games for the Seahawks that same season. You'll never see that again -- a guy starting at QB for two different teams in the same year.

Did Frye not start for the Browns and the Seahawks a couple years back after getting traded after starting the season opener for Cleveland?

Buster Rhymes ('85 Vikings) wants his identity back.
