I don't know much about Washington, but I picked against them (and my gut) this week and lost. And OSU certainly didn't look overwhelming Saturday.

How bad does ND feel right now? Ty Willingham has Washington moving in the right direction pretty quickly. I always thought Willingham got a raw deal at Notre Dame, so I'm rooting for him to get Washington back where they were earlier this decade.

Boise State and Wyoming might be under the radar interesting
Maryland might have a shot against West Virginia
And Central Florida plays at Texas.

Coach Beamer pulls the plug on Sean Glennon(at least for now). I guess I shouldn't be surprised, Beamer was pissed during that LSU game.

Is that the first time Va Tech has ever gone into a real football environment?

They play Florida State, but is there anyone else. I don't consider Miami a true college football environment.

Death Valley in Clemson isn't a country club. Just because Virginia Tech was trucked by LSU in Baton Rouge is no reason to bad-mouth the Hokies and their lack of anything.

Virginia Tech was badly beaten in one game. Let it go.

More bad news for Michigan (or might this be good news)

    Agree with the last sentiment.
But Tech has not played at Clemson since it has been in the ACC. That changes next month.
Hell, how many "real" environments are there in the ACC? Tech? Check. Florida State? Check. VT hasn't played there as a member of the ACC. Clemson? Check. See above.

Maybe N.C. State and UNC are "real" when the teams don't stink.

Hey by the way PM me. I have some super cool JDV parties coming up that I may or may not post a thread about, but you NEED the 411.

As for week 3 of CFB - Pac 10 continues to dominate.

The real environments are Florida State, Clemson and Virginia Tech.

Chapel Hill and Raleigh don't really count. It takes either one another or a top ACC contender - when the home team is worth something and really feels it can pull an upset - to make it a worthwhile atmosphere. To me, that doesn't constitute a real environment.
