After MTSU forced Louisville to settle for a field goal, despite having first-and-goal at the 1, MTSU answers with a long touchdown run to pull within 31-28 early in the 2nd quarter.

Got to love that Big East defense.

The first one to score 70 in this L'ville-MTSU game when the clock hits 0:00 is a winner. Good gosh!

    Memo to Louisville:

You're dropping in the polls. Shut Middle Tennessee out for this fourth quarter, as you did in the third, and you may avert a precipitous plummet.

UPDATE: Meanwhile, Cincinnati is kicking Oregon State's all over the field. 27-3 Bearcats. As someone was saying, gotta love that Big East defense.

And if you can't score on it, man are you in trouble.

I think I can safely say that USF will beat the hell out of Louisville if they come to Tampa with that crap-assed defense.

Maybe, but the Bulls hardly looked good against 5-6 in I-AA last season Elon. However, some are still picking them to upset Auburn.

    As will WVU and Rutgers.

With that defense, the Cardinals better hope they can continue to score 70 a game.
