Another week, another new special teamer for the Steelers. This time they are bringing back Anthony Madison, one of their top coverage guys in 2008.

End of the line for Jamal Lewis, who was put on IR by the Browns today due to "post-concussion symptoms."

He has 10,607 career rushing yards, 21st all-time, and had said that this would be his final NFL season. This will be only the second time in his nine seasons that he did not finish with over 1,000 yards. He had the second-most yards rushing in a single NFL season in 2003 for the Ravens with 2,066.

    Man, he was a beast.

Cleveland has four home games in the final five. That`s some scheduling quirk.

In a related note to the Lewis injury, the NFL announced tougher guidelines for players returning to action after concussions.

    Here is the actual release.

How can he make decisions so slowly when he has about .8 seconds to throw before he's getting slammed by someone?

I think that you should cut and paste every story about the Steelers you come across because we are all dying to know every intimate detail about them..... ::)

Okay. Here's one on Ward apologizing to the team for his comments Sunday.

Here's one about Mike Tomlin remaining upbeat despite the three-game losing streak.

Here's one with Ward blaming Rodney Harrison for making a big deal out of his comments.

I'll find more later. Y'all can send complaints about cluttering up the NFL thread to Zag. It was his idea and you know I just aim to please.

(Seriously, the weekly attempts to fix the special teams just make me laugh.)

I felt the need to make a post on this thread because of the title.

The Broncos are 0-16 against the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in December. Also, consider that one of the two Chiefs victories last season was at home against the Broncos. So I don't think this game is a lock for Denver. I expect a competitive game. Maybe not well played, but competitive.
