Really, Texas A&M? NOW you want to play like you're a Division I football team?

True story, which I may have told here years ago.
North Carolina wins a game versus Oregon State at the CWS. ME asked for a header. I jokingly suggested “Tar Heels trim Beavers.”
Yeah, he used it and the shit hit the fan.

I have that sinking feeling, especially if LSU does go on to lose to Texas A&M tonight. Of course, that would be crap. LSU beat them and no matter what happens tonight, it will be the Tigers playing Georgia for the SEC Championship.

Georgia, Michigan, TCU, and USC all belong ahead of Alabama. Even with the ugly loss today, Ohio State probably belongs ahead of the Tide, too.

If LSU wins, then loses to Georgia, the Tigers still belong ahead of the Tide but idiots wanting to sneak Alabama into the playoff will point to the three losses and ignore that LSU won head-to-head and it was the team in the conference championship game.

A correction to my earlier answer: if Washington wins, Utah is in the championship. If Wazzu wins, Oregon is in.

Notre Dame looks good in spurts then takes a dump.

LSU is doing its part to eliminate another contender from the playoff debate.

    My top 5 would be*
    1. Georgia
    2. Michigan
    3. TCU
    4. USC
    5. tOSU

Likely Top 5 until after conference championships*
    1. Georgia
    2. Michigan
    3. TCU
    4. tOSU
    5. USC

*Assuming USC doesn’t choke in the second half

If A&M wins it would only share the worst record in the SEC instead of being worst with a loss

But two-loss Tennessee thinks its viable with a 25-point loss to an unranked team?
