They ought to leave Kelly at the airport with a one-way ticket to Baton Rouge.

  2. Chances Chip Kelly lasts until the season?

I think there's an 80 percent chance he gets canned beforehand. I could see him done before they kickoff next week.
    It's a foregone conclusion he's a dead man walking.
    But Wow.
    Wow.

My goodness, what the hell happened to the Eagles this year? How did they get to be this god-awful horrible?

Chip thought building a football team was all about chemistry. Turns out talent figures in the equation too.

Chip thought building a football team was all about having players who had the same opinion of him he does.

What a great line from Aikman after Agholor got the flag for taking off his helmet.

As another writer once said as we were walking down to the locker rooms after Buddy Ryan's last playoff loss with the Eagles, "At least he's in a town where they won't take it personally."

  8. Jim Bob Cooter, future NFL head coach?

I watched a lot last week against Tampa Bay, and the defense was brutal. Everyone responded that they were pretty good statistically this season. Well, they are freaking HORRIBLE. 45 points in consecutive weeks against the Bucs and Lions? Whew.

The Panthers are proof you can have the best color scheme in the world and 9/10 times it will be ruined by going monochrome.

  12. Nice to see Brett Favre dress up to have his number retired in Green Bay.
Then Al and Chris pump the second half interview with Brett. "Can't wait to see if he'll tell some of those stories about himself and his playing days" ... That interview well short of promotion. And of course it was during the 4th quarter of a tight game. Nice win for Da Bears, BTW.

VERY classy of Bart Starr to greet Favre. He's emblematic of everything Favre is not.

And again, Reggie White has his number retired in Green Bay? I guess.
