Week 12 The Steelers are back!

Discussion in 'Sports and News' started by Evil ... Thy name is Orville Redenbacher!!, Nov 17, 2015.

  1. Three Thursday games to kick off the week:
Thu Nov 26 12:30 pm Philadelphia Eagles Detroit Lions
4:30 pm Carolina Panthers Dallas Cowboys
8:30 pm Chicago Bears Green Bay Packers

I like Dallas to beat Carolina.

Sun Nov 29 1:00 pm Buffalo Bills Kansas City Chiefs
1:00 pm Miami Dolphins New York Jets
1:00 pm Minnesota Vikings Atlanta Falcons
1:00 pm New Orleans Saints Houston Texans
1:00 pm New York Giants Washington Redskins
1:00 pm Oakland Raiders Tennessee Titans
1:00 pm San Diego Chargers Jacksonville Jaguars
1:00 pm St. Louis Rams Cincinnati Bengals
1:00 pm Tampa Bay Buccaneers Indianapolis Colts
4:05 pm Arizona Cardinals San Francisco 49ers
4:25 pm Pittsburgh Steelers Seattle Seahawks
8:30 pm New England Patriots Denver Broncos
Mon Nov 30 8:30 pm Baltimore Ravens Cleveland Browns

Kind of "meh" slate this week.
    Fins/Jets for mediocrity .
    Giants/Skins
Steelers/Seahawks in a game with wildcard implications... The Steelers traditionally play like shit in Seattle (in the Kingdome) and on the West Coast period.
Patriots/Broncos doesn't have quite the shine, w/o Manning, but that Broncos D .. Maybe? Maybe Brock can do enough?

The relevance of the Steelers record in the Kingdome escapes me.

What was the NY Giants' record at RFK?

The Steelers last played at the Kingdome 22 years ago.

The Dolphins used to kill the Jets at Shea Stadium. Note when placing wagers.

So, in other words, they're overdue for a win in the Kingdome?

Nudamkong Suh ought to have a field day against Richard Todd.

Stay away from the Bears tonight. They've never won at Milwaukee County Stadium.

Drink every time they mention Jim Bob Cooter. You'll be time in no drunk.

Hey, you're forgetting the exhibition game they won, 2-0, in 1971 when quarterback Frank Patrick stepped out of the end zone.

Nice to see the Lions and Iggles realize that they are indeed playing on a Thursday; otherwise we ran the risk of having an entertaing game.

  12. The Steelers have typically not played well at Seattle.
They don't play well on the west coast period.
I remember them playing a couple games at the god-awful Kingdome in the 80s and always losing .
That's it. I just recall this crapfest gamss at the Kingdome.
