With Ole Miss at Texas A&M postponed, there is currently no Saturday afternoon SEC game on CBS for the second week in a row. What are the rules on them poaching one of the other games from ESPN or SEC Network?
Missouri-South Carolina is on SEC Alternate at 6:30 and would be a dog ass game for the showcase spot, but surely that's better for everyone if they move that to the afternoon, right?

Not really crazy expectations, it's not as bad as Tennessee. Sure they want to win big, who doesn't. But they aren't dumping coaches that are putting together good seasons. Spurrier had a 42-11 run near the end of his tenure there. They want to get to Outback Bowls and be competitive and have some good players. They have plenty of NFL-quality talent on the roster on both sides of the ball right now. Muschamp horribly underachieved with this group, especially on defense.

That being said it's not impossible to win big there, but a lot of things have to happen right. Billy Napier is a name I hear and he could put South Carolina in a spot where they will be a tough out for the power. Their annual cross over opponent is Texas A&M. This is a wonky year but before they played Alabama in 2019, LSU in 2015 and Auburn in 2014 so they aren't getting the tough SEC West draws every year. They always have good recruiting classes. They have a one of the better C/O 2020 QBs on the roster and a commitment from one of the top 2022 QBs so getting talent isn't a problem.

San Diego State-Nevada now gets that spot. What a world.

South Carolina is one of the jobs where hot young coaches get paid big bucks to watch their winning percentage tank. Napier is a fine rising coach, and that is exactly the sort of job he should run from - but it's an SEC school and SEC money, and that's hard to turn down.

ACC just whacked Wake-Duke. No mention of a reschedule.

And Maryland, which is supposed to play Michigan State this weekend, hasn’t practiced since suspending team activities a week ago.

If it's not rescheduled, no one should be shocked. Duke has been a mess because of too many turnovers by Chase Brice and the offense.
Wake Forest's coach, Dave Clawson, has been something of a reluctant participant, quarantining from his wife, who has a comorbid, until the end of the season.

Wake's Clawson to isolate from wife due to virus

They've played enough. They've accomplished more than I thought possible. Save the playoff contenders, who have something to play for, every team that has to "pause" this week or next should call it a year, wait for Trump to get out of power and hope to play for real in 2021.

If they didn't get to do it last week and they don't announce something tomorrow, I'm going to guess they're out of luck. You'd think that the perpetual threat of hurricanes would by itself create a contingency clause, but I don't know. Gonna be hard for CBS to campaign for that second SEC team in the playoff if it's never carrying a conference game.

Navy's had more game sunk by Covid this year (3) than it had ships sunk by the enemy since the end of WWII (0).
