Are you at the point where Tommy Johnson waylays Bill Sartin on the fumblerooski yet, Blitz?

And the game ended 30-21, not 31-20. One of only three times Alabama trailed that year, and the only time in the second half.

Yes. They are going to work until the final whistle to score their 60th point in Starkville.

I actually like Notre Dame to win this weekend. It would be the worst of all possible worlds, Weis would have his "big win," and the Dome would settle in for another year of "maybe this is the year." My guess, Weis will stay for a couple of years and then bail out and go back to the NFL.

Agreed. The fanboi-ism is off the charts lately.

But, but, but....it's Mississippi State. I mean, who ISN'T a fanboi of the.....wait, what's the mascot down there?

I hate Bama with a passion, but just for you, I hope they hang 60 on the mighty what's-their-names.

Just so we're clear here ...

Someone who roots for team X to win each week = fanboi

Someone who hates team X "with a passion" = not a fanboi

    10-4, over and out.

How can someone be labeled as a fanboi of a team they don't root for?

The idea is that you might be letting your hatred of a particular program cloud your objectivity when it comes to college football, which makes you no different or better than someone who blindly roots for that program.

First of all, I was half-kidding. Second, I'm not so biased to actually think Bama is going to lose to MSU or to any other team of that nature. Besides, I was saying I hope Bama wins big, not loses.

Trust me. I've won (and lost) plenty on Alabama this year, and those picks were not based on my dislike for them. Same with teams I openly root for and other teams I openly root against.

    Relax.

    Notre Dame/Pitt should be entertaining.

    Missouri-KState- Always fun.

Florida-South Carolina- Will be closer than people think.

Idaho @ Boise St.- Should be fun to watch.

Stanford @ USC- When was the last time USC lost 3 games in conference?

Iowa @ Ohio St.--This could get ugly.

Nebraska @ Kansas--Birds better pull their heads out.

Utah @ TCU-- Another good game.

Texas Tech @ Okla. St--MUST win for Leach.

Arizona St. @ Oregon--Hope Blount doesn't punch out the Sun Devil mascot.
