Yuengling Lager has a 4.4% content. Bud Light Lime is at 4.2%. Not much difference from Bud Light Lime and the most overrated item on the SJ board this side of In N Out burgers.

Yuengling doesn't get me drunk without some effort. It's a good sipping (and pounding) beer. I usually rely on alcohol for drunkenness.

    And slicker.

Only twice in my life have I ever blacked out. Once was on vodka collinses and chocolatinis (DO NOT GO BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN THOSE, FOR THE LOVE OF PUNTO). Once was on an entire jug of vodka collinses I made at a new year's party with Cosmo, the guy who ended up becoming my boss a couple years later, and bunches of others. No one else wanted any, so I drank the whole pitcher, and it was HEAVY on the vodka. I think I put down a whole big bottle of vodka.

Oh, wait, I didn't black out on that. I PASSED out. My bad.

I posted this on the 'PT Cruiser' thread yesterday by mistake.

Many years ago a large contingent of friends attended a wedding in Philadelphia, right across the river from where we all grew up together.
We all booked rooms at the downtown Marriott, which was still quite new.
When the after parties were winding down around 3-4 a.m. I wandered out of our room and down to the indoor pool. I had a very nice drunken swim and fell asleep on the lounge chair.
Later that morning, I was awakened by a hotel employee who asked to see my room keycard. I didn't have it. I didn't have any ID. I'd left everything in the room.
I was escorted to the front desk, where another employee called up to my room, saying 'We have a pool-side sleeper who claims to be a member of your party.'
For years, I was called The Pool-Side Sleeper.

The cliche goes that the two major occasions for family get togethers are weddings and funerals. That's why I love weddings. Sadly with numerous cousins all over the place, its hard to get together. Its funny, you get in your 20s and 30s and its seems like there's a couple of weddings every year. Now that I'm in my 40's, everyone is married. I miss those days. I guess I have to wait for my kids to get married. (A couple of cousins' kids got married but only my parents got the invite.)

What happened to schieza's staunch no-booze, anyone-who-needs-alcohol-to-have-fun-is-a-loser plan?

Also, any report on which hand his wedding ring is on?

(all kidding aside, mazel tov you bastard)

Schieza didn't drink. I did - in fact, I informed him if I was coming to the wedding, I'd need a case of beer for myself. He's not against other people drinking, he just chooses not to do it.
He's wearing his ring on his left hand.

    Bud Light Lime. What swill.
Lucky you didn't puke your guts out long before you ever got drunk on that pisswater.

Schieza said he was gonna check in on the Vegas thread, but he hasn't.
    Good for him.
