    Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) operates sports internet and multimedia ventures not directly tied to MLB.com or the official baseball club websites. Currently, MLBAM is seeking a Part-Time Editorial Producer for partner websites.

    The Part-Time Editorial Producer is responsible for creating content and maintaining websites such as SNY.tv, YESNetwork.com, Minor League Baseball, USA Baseball, TigerWoods.com, IceNetwork.com, DerekJeter.com and more. Part-Time Editorial Producers work closely with partner representatives and writers to ensure that the sites provide users with the most relevant, informative and interesting content possible.

    Responsibilities:
    • Edit and produce content for use on partner websites
    • Write headlines, captions, blurbs
    • Select and crop photos
    • Manage overall presentation, making judgments on story significance and arranging content
    • Communicate with MLBAM editorial and multimedia teams to ensure that all content is properly placed
    • Opportunities to contribute to writing may be available
    • Position will include night and weekend shifts

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree
    • Strong copy-editing skills
    • Basic knowledge of HTML and web publishing
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a time-sensitive environment
    • Organized, detail-oriented individual with strong work ethic
    • Familiarity with journalistic practices and AP style
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
    • Thorough knowledge of sports
    • Experience with Photoshop
