(Memo from the Reds regarding food in the press box)

To our friends in the media,

For the last 6 years, in lieu of press dining room many of you purchased meals from a variety of concession stands in Club 4192 on press box level.

Please know that Club 4192 is now an all-inclusive dining area, FS Ohio Champions Club, which requires a ticket for admission. Unfortunately, none of the food or drink in that club is sold ala carte, and media credentials will not get you access to that area.

While we encourage you to take advantage of the wide variety of food available throughout the ballpark, please know that the concession stands closest to the press box with the easiest access probably are in Scouts Alley, located on the mezzanine level via the press box elevators.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

As if watching that team on a daily basis weren't punishment enough, now they make Big Red Smokies even tougher to get?

    Sheesh.

This is tremendous news. Now that it is harder to buy food, maybe the beat reporters will start asking the tough questions they were afraid to ask when they were getting free hot dogs and popcorn......[\crossthread]

In this case the Reds have chosen not to feed the hand that bites it.

Anybody who was stupid enough to be eating any food provided by that organization in any stadium they've occupied deserves what they get. And food poisoning is not out of the question.

Phone rings, Moe answers: "Moe's Tavern, home of the Super Sunday Brunch!"

Barney: "All right! Baloney .... Bread!"
