We Southern racists

    So we are the hillbilly racists, who won't vote for anyone but an old white man? It's the enlightened refined people of the northeast who are color blind.

    I sense a trend from the folks who live what they preach about going green. (Wind power! Wind power! Oh, but not in our backyard.)

    I believe he is talking about the vote yesterday how Obama didn't win a single Southern state.

    But skin color was a factor. Boston is more racist than Birmingham.

    Boston's "race wars" were fought more than 30 years ago ... and it was just as much a class issue, if not moreso, than a race issue.
