That's how the TNT play-by-play guy introduced her during the Cavs-Pistons game tonight. Thank God he didn't call her "the talented Pam Oliver." Any thoughts ladies of SportsJournalists.com? Would you be offended?

At least he didn't say "lovely and talented..."
Little Miss Intern would have had a fit for someone stealing her identifying line.

You're saying he wouldn't do the same thing for Craig Sager?

    That's just inaccurate.

Pam Oliver hasn't come across on TV as beautiful since the Jags and Panthers came into the league. Tiny, tiny in real life.

In 1994, Oliver interviewed -- I believe it was Randall Cunningham -- after an Eagles win and said something to the effect of, "You must be feeling good with some pretty easy games coming up against teams like the Browns."

The Browns beat the Eagles the following week, and I lost all respect for her. There are no "easy" games in the NFL.

Charles Barkley had a funny line about him, something like: "When they start letting pimps do interviews, it's time for me to get out of the business."
