We ruined a party

    The Iowa-Iowa State game was on ESPN today. For some reason, DirecTV subscribers in the state didn't get the first quarter and part of the second quarter. The cable systems and Dish Network had it.

    Anyone want to guess who got the blame?

    "HOW COULD YOU SAY THE GAME WAS ON ESPN WHEN IT WASN'T," some guy yelled in a voicemail message. "I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY, YOU JUST RUINED OUR PARTY!!!!!!!!"

    Of course, he didn't leave a phone number where I could call him and tell him what happened.

    Our voice mail now gives us the phone number at the start. People love it when we call back when they don't leave the number.
