    I don't know much about Ron Roenicke, other than he was a baseball card I didn't want to get in the 80s, so I'll reserve judgment.

    Supposedly the commissioners office has put out the word that big contracts for managers should be avoided.

    The seasons Torre and Piniella had also make the celebrity manager thing less attractive.

    The fact Ryne Sandberg can't even get an interview for any of these jobs leads me to believe the Cubs may have actually done something right for a change.
