Aren't they all the same once you get north of 49?

Yeah, because Regina and Toronto look pretty much the same. :)

There's a great water slide in a Travelodge there.

I hate to spoil the Canadiana love-in but that billboard ain't from Saskatchewan. Saskatoon is a chain of steak houses -- I think it originates in North Carolina.

I guess we have Montana's. They have Saskatoon.

I know a few years ago, PETA tried to get South Carolina to change its mascot, saying that Gamecocks encouraged cock-fighting. Maybe they wanted them to change the name to coop kittens or something like that. This group really knows how to make effective changes in its fight for animal rights.

    That would have been appropriate.

Figured a thread about PETA with the word flog in it would be the perfect place for this:
Honestly, the "rejected Super Bowl ad" bit is pretty lame. (I think it must be some kind of sub-genre of advertising). If I'm a broadcaster, I make sure a check is in the bank before I even review an ad submitted for broadcast. No sense giving them the aura of being an Super Bowl player without paying for it. But the NBC memo is pretty good reading.
