Now, we'll hear that we have to give this guy six months/a year/two years/3000 more lives before we say anything.

Awesome! I always like making the government bigger so that more people can take the blame for the president's screw-ups.

Nice to know that representative government has degenerated into delegation and outsourcing responsibility.

    Harry Truman wept.

Really. One of the worst things that this administration has not been truly held to account for is its love of outsourcing and privatizing things like the military, medicare, VA hospitals, etc. etc.

Smaller government -- but lousier results and twice the cost at four times the profits!

What a sap . . . as W and Little Dick dance around the maypole, trilling "Weeeee haaaave someone to blaaaaaameeeeeeee . . . "

"War czar" ... sounds like something along the lines of say, the Secretary of Defense.

Real conservatives stand against expanding the federal bureaucracy. This just shows how much the Bush2-Cheney crowd speaks out of both sides of their mouths as often as politically possible.

Two seemingly powerful positions that --- for obvious reasons --- nobody wanted.

    Alabama football coach.
    War czar.

Lt. Gen. Lute must be a very patriotic citizen. Kind of like "American Dad."
