    "Oh, that Alan" was a classic ending to the Whipit video. And R.I.P. to a member of a band that was/is one of a kind.

    Obviously, the band was best-known for Whip It, but the other songs they did were quite good as well... Are We Not Men is another great one...

    So many pther good songs by them: Uncontrollable Urge, Time Out for Fun, Peek-a-Boo, Through Being Cool. Their version of Are You Experienced? was awful, tho. Mark Mothersbaugh has done a ton of TV scoring over the years.

    Mark Mothersbaugh is also Wes Anderson's go-to film score composer, in much the same way Danny Elfman is for Tim Burton.
