Well, God says to go forth and multiply, so it's my blow for reverence.

Damn, Dools. I had rehearsal tonight and missed the big 20,000.

You're my idol. Can't wait to meet you here in TO. :D

    Dan Quisenberry...a nice, poignant tribute.

What do I have to do to get Mark Gubicza in your screen name? :D

If I had a drink in my mouth, I would have spit it out. Excellent work.

In honor of Dooley Womack's 20,000th post -- a historic post if only for the fact it was his longest ever on this board -- I hereby declare July 4 to be an SportsJournalists.com holiday.

    Sincerely,

    Mayor Freelance J. Hack

Dooley Womack Day wasn't born on America's birthday.

America was born on Dooley Womack Day.

Back in 1776, Miles Doolish1 would send 14 decrees a day to the Town Crier.

Crier: Would ye kindly refrain from padding my daily cries? My cries of revolution to get out from under the King's yoke must not be fettered by these pointless one-sentence decrees.
Miles Doolish1: Ye crier is crying.
Crier: See what I mean? What doth ye even mean by that? Are ye trying to undermine our freedom? Are ye a Tory?
Miles Doolish1: I spent all day working up 20 more decrees, and I have no idea what this revolution thing is, so I carved ye a woodcut of a bunny with a pancake on its head.

You can't stop DW. You can only hope to contain him.
