On this, I have to agree with you. hondo should have changed the thread title as soon as he discovered that it was a hoax.

I often wonder if a celebrity at Knight's level benefits in any way from this.

Not as much as he does from Seinfeld reruns airing 20 times a week on TBS.

Well, there are residual checks and there is celebrity. I wonder how much someone who was on 48 episodes, as a recurring character, would get from that...

I know he's on some show with Donald Faison right now.

There's a special level of hell waiting for anyone who does a death hoax, even for a celebrity.

    Is hondo dead?

One of those brutally awful TV Land original comedies where ex-NBC stars apparently go to die.

    Is it worse than Kirstie?

It was funny, I listened to Faison on the Nerdist podcast awhile back and the discussion was 75 percent Scrubs, 23 percent Clueless, 2 percent this horseshit show which he was promoting...

I'm sure it is, b/c the two of us farting looks better than Kirstie. But I only saw The Exes once or twice. Just not very good. One of those sitcoms that probably passed muster in the '80s, but is just too dorky now.
